Congressman George Radanovich, a 'radical' Republican according to GovTrack], represents California’s 19th Congressional District and is currently serving his sixth term in Congress.

A California native, Radanovich was born in the Sierra foothills community of Mariposa in 1955. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural business management from California State Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo in 1978. Radanovich is married to the former Ethie Weaver, a California political consultant. They have one son, King.

Radanovich is a Rotarian and is also a member of the California Agricultural Leadership Class XXI. In 1998, he served as Chairman of the Western Caucus.

Other affiliations include the Congressional Wine Caucus and Croatian Caucus, of which he is a Co-Chair for both. He is also a member of the following Congressional Caucuses: Diabetes, Meth, Armenian, Heart & Stroke, Scouting, Courthouse, National Guard & Reserve Components, and Fire Services.
