Jim Martin was the much trusted, low key Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Georgia in 2006.

In 2008 he became a Senate Candidate who's apeal is based in part on his serving as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1969 to 1971. [1] an America's being tired of the war in Iraq.

He is was in a run off campaign against the same creep that slunk his way into the Senate by swiftboating the patriotism a decorated War hero who lost three limbs in his tur of duty. i.e. Max Cleland.
